Playing behind Senior Guard Roland Bender (19.4 PPG) and Junior forward Clay Jacoby (16.3 PPG), the vikings ended with a 37-8 record while going 28-2 in the V.11 Conference. Once having a 20 game win streak, PSU was able to win the Conference where they secured the 1st seed. After three hard fought battles , the championship game against the #2 seed Savannah State Tigers was next.
