O'Donnell on his commitment to UC Davis -
by bren_white on March 30th, 2020
Its been a tough stretch for UC Davis fans. The loosing streak has hit four and things couldn't be worse. That was until we heard about Patrick O'Donnell committing to the Aggie's. Here's what Patrick had to say about his commitment. "Coach Potter made it very clear that he wanted me to come play for him ever since his first day as head coach for Davis. He told me he wanted a point guard like me who is quick and is able to knock down 3's. After he offered me a scholarship I already knew I was going to commit because I fit in perfectly with his system and I love the guys I would be playing with at Davis and the campus is awesome. So I decided to pull the trigger and commit. I feel like I have something to prove and I'm ready to get to it."- Patrick O'Donnell.

Win streak to 3! -
by bren_white on March 26th, 2020
Our Aggie's struggled at the beginning of the season under the previous head coach going 0-5 in the first five games. Since we've added our new head coach Herbert Potter, the team has improved tremendously winning its passes 3 ball games. "Coach P has been able to get a lot out of our guys, I actually see that everyone wants to win now and not just going through the motions. I'm excited about the rest of the season."- Senior captain Tommie Keller. "We will enjoy this win today, adding to our winning streak of three games but tomorrow it's back to work. The next game is going to be a challenge against a tough Washington State team, I see it as an opportunity for our guys to show some grit and prove that we can play with anybody. That being said, our team and staff are going to enjoy this win today and get back to going full throttle tomorrow to get ready for the Cougars."- Coach Potter

First Game for Coach Potter -
by bren_white on March 23rd, 2020
Today marked the first official game for our new Head Coach. Although our Aggie's took yet another loss this season, we've seen a ton of improvement in just the first game with Coach Potter. Our effort and visible will to win increased exponentially compared to the previous games. "Today I saw a ton of potential in our players, they really played their butts off and they want to win just as much as the coaching staff. We have a great potential all american center in Tommy Keller who had a double double. That being said, this journey is just beginning and we have a long way to go if we want to be a championship contender." - Coach Potter.

New Direction for our program -
by bren_white on March 22nd, 2020
This is a new era for UC Davis basketball! I hope everyone is as excited as I am. The team will be moving in a more aggressive up tempo direction that will allow the play makers to do their job on offense. The only way we can accomplish this, is on the other side of the ball. Our man to man defense is going to be aggressive and angry, which in turn will lead to better offense and more opportunities on that end. Our primary goal is to play through our point guard with ball screens by letting him operate the offense. We will have more opportunities to score with our leader guiding the team. Its time to light the fire and get ready to play an exciting version of basketball. Welcome to the new era of Aggies basketball!
