This past week the Chippewas beat Kent State 95-84, beat Texas Lutheran in a landslide 63-85, and beating Trevecca Nazarene in another landslide 69-80 despite Calvin Jones being injured due to a shoulder issue.

" I am very pleased with our team, we are finding our feel, coach Nicholson, Bond, and Covarrubias have done a amazing job getting our players ready for our games." said Haley

President Craig Windshacker also made a comment at the win against Kent State saying " I knew Haley was the right choice, he's been with the team for 12 years and knows the team inside and out. I have full faith in his ability to lead our team, I am excited for the future"

The Chippewas lost 83-81 this week to the Oral Roberts.

" It's been a tough few games with so many leadership changes, its a shame we lost but what are we gonna do?"

Haley expects to rebound next game with new assistant coach Eugene Nicholson getting settled in his role.

President Craig Windshacker has made the long and difficult decision to replace Glenn Creech as head coach of the CMU. This was long anticipated, but it seemed the tipping point was the recent scandal that embroiled Creech.

Longtime assistant coach Ben Haley will take on the role of Head Coach. We are very excited

Due to leadership changes at CMU we have decided to part ways with HC Todd Kronig, we thank Kronig for all the work he has done for the program.

Replacing him will be Gleen Creech who has a track record of producing incredible offensive teams and we are sure he and our rest of our coaching staff will complete the season very well.
