Blue Devils Welcome Coach Bowden to New Britain -
by jdog315 on November 30th, 2019
Former Stanford University head coach Johnny "General" Bowden of Lakewood, California was hired by Central Connecticut State University to lead the Blue Devils men's basketball team for the 2010 season.
Bowden previously spent 10 seasons at Stanford University, coaching in nearly 400 games and amassing a winning record of 205-184. He also reached the NCAA tournament 4 times out of his 10 seasons at Stanford.
The Blue Devils look up to this seasoned coach to lead the fight in the 2010 season as they look for another conference playoff appearance. Currently, the Blue Devils stand at 0-2 after a recent loss to Cal State Bakersfield. It will be up to "the General" to rally the Blue Devils and set them back on track for a successful season.
