With the D2 Tournament coming up the Drury Panther's have won their last in-conference regular season game against Northern Iowa Panthers. With Northern Iowa being Panthers as well gave this game a little more fire on who will be the TOP CAT of the conference. Player of the game going to Redshirt Senior Jon Nielson putting up 14 points leading all rebounders with 14. Adding 1 block and 1 steal. Leading scorer for Drury Red Shirt Sophomore Sean Banks with 30 points. Leading assist is Redshirt Junior Noel Avery with 5. With this win Drury is now 2nd in V.14 conference, gives them no doubt they have clinched a spot in the D2 Tournament. But not satisfied by births, the team is using the late-great Kobe Bryant's famous quote as motivation. "Job's not done."

Panthers have gone 8-5 on the road to March since January 15th. At this point of the season, Drury is looking to lock in that spot and make sure there are no doubts on clinching D2 Tournament. Last game played took a tough lost to Miami Hurricanes going 0-2 in the in-season conference series. With one final remaining Regular Season conference game left the Panthers have nothing but business to handle. Even with a loss March 5th Drury has a chance to make it. Coach Revels said. "We need to win today and leave no doubt in the committee's decision. Have control over our own destiny". Our conference is one of the toughest in the country."

Panthers looking to be back on track going 2-2 the last 4 games. The first 2 games Drury came up short losing 66-58 to Missouri State and 75 - 65 to Miami. Panthers being determined and going back to drawing board are now 2-0 between January 13th through 15th. Sean Banks being Player of the Game both Wins. Scoring 31 and 43 points. Taking it day by day on the road to march. Currently In the 2050 Division 2 Tournament as of NOW!
