Missouri S&T Miners Basketball Thanks Forward Bryce Zielinski for His Contributions to the Program

Rolla, Mo. — The Missouri University of Science and Technology Men’s Basketball program would like to formally thank forward Bryce Zielinski for his outstanding contributions to the Miners during his time in the program.

Throughout his career at Missouri S&T, Zielinski established himself as one of the most reliable and impactful players of the MVP Enforcer administration era. Arguably the most complete overall player during that stretch, Zielinski was widely recognized for his consistency, versatility, and competitive approach on both ends of the floor.

A steady presence in the lineup, Zielinski brought a high basketball IQ, physicality, and leadership that elevated those around him. His ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game made him a cornerstone of the program and a dependable performer night after night.

“Bryce set the standard for what we expect in this program,” said Head Coach Caleb Richards. “His consistency, toughness, and willingness to do whatever the team needed made him incredibly valuable. He was the type of player coaches trust and teammates rely on. Our program is better because he was part of it.”

Beyond the box score, Zielinski’s influence was felt in the locker room and in practice, where he set the standard for preparation and accountability. His approach to the game reflected the culture Missouri S&T Basketball strives to build—toughness, consistency, and selflessness.

A Bright Future for Miners Basketball

As the program transitions back to the Division III level, Missouri S&T Men’s Basketball is positioned for a strong future within DIII conference play. Under the leadership of Head Coach Caleb Richards, the Miners have continued to lay a foundation built on competitiveness, development, and accountability, with expectations of quickly becoming a consistent threat in the conference.

That optimism is reinforced by an incoming recruiting class regarded as one of the strongest assembled during Coach Richards’ tenure. The group brings a combination of skill, depth, and competitive drive that aligns with the program’s identity and long-term vision. With a blend of returning experience and new talent, Missouri S&T is poised to build momentum and establish itself as a formidable presence at the Division III level.

ROLLA, Mo. — The Missouri S&T Miners men’s basketball program is proud to announce a new chapter in its development as it begins a focused and intentional rebuilding process designed to elevate the team’s competitiveness within Division 3 VI.26.

General Manager Harpo expressed confidence in the program's direction, highlighting key changes and a renewed culture built around accountability, growth, and leadership.

“We’ve entered a critical phase of rebuilding, and while we know that success won’t happen overnight, the foundation is being laid brick by brick,” said 2nd-year head coach Caleb Richard. “Our staff, players, and supporters understand that this is a process, and we fully expect to see continued positive momentum as we move through the upcoming season.”

Among the incoming players fueling optimism is Taylor Lindsey, a highly-touted JUCO transfer known for his high motor, on-court versatility, and leadership qualities. Lindsey brings a competitive edge and the experience of having thrived at the junior college level—attributes that are expected to translate well to the Miners’ system.

“We’re extremely excited about what Taylor Lindsey brings to the table,” Richard continued. “He’s a player who not only possesses talent but understands what it means to lead. His work ethic, attitude, and competitive drive are already setting the tone in our offseason workouts. We believe he’ll play a major role in shaping the team’s identity this year.”
