Press Releases:

Dec 01 2050: Locked in - by Bucketz on March 24th, 2026

For the 6th straight game, the Big Blues defense turned another opponent into a frustrated mess, holding them under 60 points while we continue to lock down the paint, the perimeter, and everything in between.
This isn’t luck. This is dominance!! We are a unit that refuses to give up easy buckets making our defense the toughest in the league. Teams come in thinking they can hang 80… and leave wondering what just hit them. K State next in line..

Nov 26 2050: We Back! - by Bucketz on March 23rd, 2026

The Bluefield State Big Blues just wanted to announce that we're BACK and hungrier than ever to smash every squad that steps on our court especially these so-called "powers" right here in the great state of West Virginia.
Y'all thought we were down? Nah, we were just reloading. The Dome gymnasium is guarded, the paint is ours, and every in-state rival better lace em up tight because the Big Blues are coming to collect souls, steal wins, and turn Mountaineer dreams into nightmares. West Virginia? That's OUR backyard now —consider this your eviction notice. Time to eat. Big Blues and Ws!

Nov 18 2048: Injuries - by Bucketz on November 28th, 2025

This game is becoming a joke with the injuries. Losing interest when I haven’t had my complete starting 5 a single game in the non conference. Best player injured in exhibition after playing 1 minute comes back and gets injured again. Down 3 starters tomorrow. Ridiculous. But guess what? The Big Blues keep winning. Getting more done with less talent and depth than most! Go Big Blues!

Nov 04 2048: Let’s Go! - by Bucketz on November 24th, 2025

Big Blues Big W! Ranked team? No problem! Little Louie Hightower crying to his momma after the game regretting his decision of going elsewhere just like 5 star Harrell. Like I said WVU got a blessing with Pickering out. Shepherd is next to try their luck. Hopefully Cartwright makes the right recruiting decision and chooses us! Let’s go Big Blues!

Oct 21 2048: Ready to prove it - by Bucketz on November 21st, 2025

Today starts our mission to prove we are the best team in the state of West Virginia. WVU is being gifted a blessing with Pickering being out. However, the Big Blues will never back down..only lock down the opposing team. We know Harrell still has the regret of not choosing us in the back of his mind. Today it will be all that’s on his mind. We plan on putting the clamps on and making it a rock fight today. Go Big Blues!
