Oct 24 2048: Dayton picks up a rare SWO win - by freewind on November 21st, 2025

The South Western Ohio Tournament is in it's 12 annual year of being played. Started in 2038, the 4 team event has seen 3 of the teams lift a championship trophy. The Flyers win today marks only the 2nd time in tournament history they have managed to beat the Red Hawks. The tournament will continue on Nov 11th when the Flyers will host the Cincinnati Bearcats who lost today in their match with Xavier. A home victory there would be the first time the Flyers have ever won two games in the tournament in a single season. Lots to play for as the Non Conference schedule continues.


Feb 13 2044: Dayton fires HC Mid Season - by freewind on March 18th, 2025

Since 2018 Browning has been the only head coach in the Flyer office but today after caught napping at his desk, the University has finally decided to remove him. Dante Kopp, former HC of Ohio Bobcats will take over as intern until a new Head Coach can be found.


Jan 16 2044: Dayton continues to win in conference - by freewind on March 10th, 2025

16-0 in conference now ties President Freewind's 2nd best start to conference play. 18-0 was his best ever back in 2036 when being led by Scott Plunkett on the court. Though it was the best start in program history, you'd have to go back to 2007 when president BCeasy set the all time conference record of 29-1 (in D1 play to boot). For now, we focus on one game at a time.


Feb 11 2040: Carson Owen at 20 - by freewind on August 6th, 2024

The Senior has entered Dayton's all time scoring ranked 20th now on the chart. Averaging almost 15 points a game, depending on the Flyer's post season, he has a chance to pop up a couple more spots. Currently ahead of him is Cruz "Control" Velez, the current point guard on the team sits at 17th with 2065 for his career. The Junior will almost definitely break Dayton's all time scoring record next year. Having 2 active 2k career scorers is definitely a season worth remembering. Dec 20 2035: Flyers on a 9-0 - by freewind on December 11th, 2023

First time in program history to have a 9-0 start in conference play. Some of the alumni think this might be the best team they've seen since the 06 & 07 years. Not only can Scott play in heals now, he's dancing his way in them towards a tournament run. He's getting a lot of help from the Red Shirt Junior Robert Love who just came off of his 6 POTG this season. This team isn't going to wow you with any high stats, doesn't have to. One of the best D's in the country holding opponents to 60.4 PPG. Big match for this squad on the road as they head towards Thiel College (7-2) tomorrow.
