As we prepare for the final push for promotion moving into February, current Rochester head coach Dick Weller's employment has been a hot topic issue in the Rochester Gazette. Everyone in the Rochester area knows that Weller does not have many redeeming qualities. He is not particularly "great" at anything. But we do know Dick is resilient. After an unexpected relegation last year with what some analysts were calling "the best Division II team in the nation", Dick's leash seemed to have disappeared. After a bounce back season this year, some would say he has done enough to retain his position for a couple more years. That will all be decided with how these last couple conference games go, and if he can get this team back to division 2. Time will tell. Go Yellow Jackets

After a mid-season president change, the team took a couple tough losses. We are looking forward to getting after it next season, and focusing on getting some quality recruits to fill some much needed holes. Unlike my conference rival who will go unnamed (Washington University) who sets goals about "winning games" and "making the tournament"... my main focus is to mold these young men into upstanding citizens. As the saying goes "it is darn important that we win this game, but in 20 years you won't remember the score. What you will remember is the relationships you have built". See you on the court
