On the road against a talented Oklahoma Baptist team, the Beacons found themselves trailing by 20 points in the first half and 15 at halftime. However, the Beacons didn’t go away quietly. They showed a lot of fight and determination to comeback and win by 11 points. Gary Townsend out of Taunton, Massachusetts picked up player of the game (5) with 26 points. All around solid win and great momentum boost as the Beacons seek a promotion to division 2.

The lad “Air” Bud Burgess out of Mansfield Massachusetts, hit a go ahead two-point basket against in state rival Boston College, with only a few seconds left to win the game. “Air” Bud and the rest of the crew celebrated the big win in the streets of Boston right after the game. The Beacons look to stay hot to get promoted to division 2.
