Apr 04 2050: Up & Down - by jolan560 on March 5th, 2026

While excited to reach D1 at last, Dominican Illinois has relegated back to D2. Finishing neck and neck in the relegation battle, the boys are confident that returning 3 starters they will be able to push back up and compete in D1 once again soon.

A strong frontcourt class comes off the redshirts, with veteran gaurds Warden and Halstead outside the arc.

Mar 23 2045: 2045 Recap Strong Yet Unremarkable - by jolan560 on May 27th, 2025

A return to D2 seems on the cards for the Catholic boys from the West Side. A strong season in what could be called a "quite a weak division" ended in a second round tourney run and 3rd place in the league table. Both results satisfying, but hardly anything to brag about.

Strong redshirt debuts for Derrick Marcum and Rene Nugent give hope for the backcourt of the future.

Many thanks to the seniors for their service!

Nov 29 2042: Hot Start 2042 - by jolan560 on December 31st, 2024

Despite a disappointing relegation campaign last season, Dominican IL has rushed out of the gate and what hopefully will lead the Stars back to DII. With only 2 seniors in the starting lineup, there is a hope that this will lay the foundation for longer term success.
