Mar 11 2044: Thanking Trent Calvin - by ScrappyDefense on March 26th, 2025

Illinois Springfield fell in a tight game to LaGrange, effectively ending our season. LaGrange had our number this year, going 3-0 against us.

This means Senior PF Trent Calvin has played his last meaningful game as a Prarie Star. Calvin was recruited by the former bot president and came into college standing 6'7" with a whopping 78 SI. He grew into a better player than anyone could have expected. He finishes his career standing 6'10" tall, averaging 14 PTS 11 REBS with a current SI of 147.

This kind of growth is what we are hoping to see with the new golden generation of young players at Illinois Springfield, the oldest of which are currently RS FRs. The future is bright, hoping to secure promotion out of D3 next season.
