Derrick Woodruff was unstoppable to start the 2045 season. He went for 46 points on 20/24 shooting and 6/8 from the line for 46 points. The junior big man not only set a career high in points he most likely set the new single game record as well.

WV St. Wishes coach Erwin Harvey all the best. His 3 seasons in LL.2 have not been to the standards we wanted to achieve. The 4-11 collapse of the 2nd half of conference play sealed the deal. We need some new blood at the top and have given the reins to 29 year old Vincent Simpson.

With the regular season at an end. The West Virginia State Yellow Jackets have set a new team single season wins record at 30. Along with winning 30 games this season WV St. also won a conference for the first time ever. And only 2nd time ever will be promoted to a higher conference next season. This all happened under Mattgcoot29 first full season as president. To say that fans are excited is an understatement for this season and what the future holds.
